The tattoo artist at Hula Hut Tattoo is Kika. He has been tattooing for 9 years. He is also a member of the Alliance of Proffesional Tattooists, which is commonly reffered to as the APT. You can check out what the APT is all about on their website at www.safe-tattoos.com or you can swing by the shop and we would be happy to talk it over with you and give you some information on them. When you walk into the shop there is not a whole lot of flash (pictures to choose from on the wall), because we pride ourselves in having a freehand-custom artist. Kika can sit down with you, figure out what you are into and draw a one of a kind piece that you will be proud to have on yourself and not have to worry about the other people that have it. Thats not to say that if you are dead set on a certain thing we won't do that for you. Just think about who you are and what you want your tattoo reflect, then come see us down at Hula Hut Tattoo. We are state licensed and mother approved.
A little more about our shop.... As mentioned previously, we are proud members of APT (Alliance of Professional Tattooist). We are firm believers in one-time use needles for every person. We DO NOT re-sterilize needles. I know this may sound like something everyone does, but unfortunately in the state of Texas it is LEGAL to re-sterilize needles. That is why we pride ourselves on being insanely clean and taking the extra effort for your tattoo to not only look amazing, but to heal amazing as well.
