Story
Bart Willis, or Bartattoo as he's known to some, has been an Austin fixture for years. He got the tattoo bug while being tattooed by Paul Jeffries in the early 80s. Then a longtime friendship with Ken Cameron opened the door to go from being a fan, to picking up a tattoo machine and getting to work in Austin and around the world on an adventure to adventure basis.
Thirteen years have passed since then, and after doing it his way for years, Bart has opened the latest incarnation of Southside Tattoo with Chris Gunn.
Bart takes great pride in understanding all aspects of the art of tattoo with emphasis on the power that a well-crafted, well-placed, and well-executed design can have on a person's life.
